For the love of Xanax

I am grateful for pharmaceuticals.

It's working for you? I am underwhelmed by Xanax. But perhaps that's because I want taking it to feel like swallowing a couple Percocets.

Ehh, it is a bit underwhelming. I take it as needed, not every day, so I think it hits me a bit harder. And let me tell you... when I need it, I need it. It would be fabulous to pop it in my mouth and instantly be grinning and floating, but I have a feeling I would have a tough time finding those reactions in a legal, non-injectable form.

Ativan was the other one I tried and I think I liked it TOO much. It was fine at night but not fine at all if I intended to drive, speak, or stand up.

And now you know my relationship with anxiolytics. But the answer to your question, "it's working for you?", yes. It gets the job done.:)

Xanax happens to be my saving grace. I am really sensitive to pharmaceuticals because I never take them. It's not some personal stance or anything meaningful like that -- I'm just too scattered to remember that I have them. I also seem to suffer a number of the side effects.

Anyway, Xanax is the only reason that I can survive my migraines. It puts me to sleep in a matter of 30 minutes, which allows me to bypass the worst pain.

So...I'm with you on this one.
